CASCARA TEA
Cascara, derived from the skin on the fruit of the coffee cherry, also known as the coffee husk (‘husk’ or ‘skin’ translated in Spanish is Cascara, hence the name) offers a delicious and aromatic alternative to traditional teas. Its subtle sweetness and fruity notes make it a perfect choice for those looking to explore new flavours and expand their tea palate.
How to prepare it:
1. Heat water to 93°C.
2. Add 8 g of cascara to 200 g of water.
3. Steep the cascara for around 4 minutes.
4. Drain the tea and discard the pulp. ENJOY!
Ps: Add a half lime and 1 teaspoon of honey to make it more delicious!
