Since the beginning of Montañeros Coffee, our customers have always asked for this product. For that reason, we never stopped working on it—we wanted to do it right.
And now, after five years of development, we present to you these premium coffee beans, coated in the finest cacao from the Colombian Amazon.
The coffee beans we use are of the Pink Bourbon variety from Acevedo, Huila. These beans undergo a natural process, meaning they are dried with the coffee cherry still attached, allowing the bean to absorb all the fruit’s sweetness and tropical flavours.
They also went through over 100 hours of controlled fermentation, giving them wine-like notes and hints of whiskey-style liqueur in every bean.
For the coating, we use pure cacao from the Colombian Amazon + organic panela from Samaná, Caldas, achieving a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness with fruity and lightly salted notes.
It is simply extraordinary—passionate and unforgettable.
